From prototype to patient care
A practical breakthrough, refined with clinicians.
With more than 25 years researching, designing, manufacturing and distributing medical alternating mattresses and other devices, Michael and the NUA Medical team developed the first NEST prototype in 2018.
They listened closely to medical professionals in Ireland, across the EU and in the United States—bringing clinical insight back to laboratory test centres and beta customers. The current NEST mattress and cushion solutions launched in early 2022 and are manufactured in Dublin for hospitals, nursing homes and care settings in Ireland and internationally.
